This week, the world's newest land was created when lava from an island volcano entered the ocean. Meanwhile, in Indonesia, the magma intrusion at the Bur ni Telong volcano appears to be further progressing, resulting in an increase in the volcano's exclusion zone. And, in Colombia, the Purace volcano has the theoretical potential albeit what seems to be a low chance in my opinion of producing a major explosive eruption. Today's video will discuss these stories through the opinion and analysis of a geologist and list the 44 world volcanoes that are actively erupting.
