The alert level was just raised as a new eruption recently began at the more than 15,000 foot tall Purace volcano in Colombia. And now, unexpectedly, the Servicio Geológico Colombiano seemingly suggests that there is a potential for a major eruption to happen. While in all likelihood, a major eruption probably won't happen, today's video discusses the possibility through a geologist and volcanologist not affiliated with that organization or the Colombian government.
