People all over Cebu celebrated Sinulog with Jollibee, enjoying special moments with families, tourists, and devotees during one of the country’s biggest cultural and religious events. “Experiencing Sinulog with Jollibee was unforgettable,” remarked Mark Santos, a local visitor. “Their involvement added extra happiness to the celebration, making everyone feel included and part of something special.”

“Sinulog is a very important celebration of faith, culture, and togetherness for Cebuanos,” said Dorothy Dee-Ching, vice president for marketing at Jollibee Philippines. “We’re grateful to join the Sinulog season, and we hope that by sharing simple moments of joy, we can bring smiles to Filipinos and visitors enjoying the festivities.”

Jollibee kicked off the celebration on January 12 with Sinulog Media Day. Media partners got a sneak peek at the brand’s activities, including the Sinulog float design and festival-themed menu items. Jollibee representatives also shared what the festival means to the brand. This event helped build excitement and bring the community together ahead of the main festivities.

To greet visitors coming to Cebu, Jollibee held special activities at Mactan-Cebu International Airport from January 15 to 17. More than 5,000 travelers joined in over three days. They were welcomed by Jollibee, received giveaways, and found out about special Sinulog offers, making their arrival feel warm and festive. One traveler, Maria, shared, ‘Being welcomed by Jollibee right at the airport made my arrival in Cebu extra special!’

During Sinulog season, Jollibee stores all over Cebu turned into lively spots for celebration. Some branches had festive arches, buntings, and air dancers, while online teasers and influencer posts helped spread the festive mood to people outside Cebu too.

Special Sinulog Festival Treats made the celebration even more exciting, like a free Go Large Coke upgrade with any Chickenjoy value meal and a free 1.5L Coke with every Chickenjoy bucket. These offers made customers happy and kept stores busy during the holiday rush.

The highlight of the celebration came during Sinulog weekend, with flash mobs at big malls like Ayala Center Cebu, SM Seaside, and Robinsons Galleria. There were Jollibee mascots, Sinulog-inspired dances, and fun games. At the General Maxilom branch along the parade route, customers joined activities with the mascots and had chances to win prizes. Near the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño, at Sinulog Devotee City, Jollibee also shared happy moments with almost 1,000 pilgrims staying there.

The celebrations ended with Jollibee joining the Sinulog Grand Parade, where a colorful float wowed the crowd and showed the brand’s commitment to honoring Filipino culture and traditions.
