Highlands Prime, Inc. (HPI), a subsidiary of SM Prime Holdings, Inc. (SM Prime), has completed Horizon Terraces, the final phase of the Horizon development at Tagaytay Highlands.

At an elevation of 240 meters above sea level, Horizon Terraces offers expansive views of the 18-hole championship Tagaytay Midlands Golf Course, the iconic Taal Lake and Mt. Makiling.

At an elevation of 240 meters above sea level, Horizon Terraces offers expansive views of the 18-hole championship Tagaytay Midlands Golf Course, the iconic Taal Lake and Mt. Makiling.

The milestone follows the success of The Horizon (Phase 1) and reflects the continued demand for residences that combine scenic surroundings, resort-style amenities, and long-term lifestyle value. The development is designed to appeal to homeowners seeking a primary residence, a weekend retreat, a retirement home, or a property to pass on to the next generation.

“All buildings at Horizon Terraces are now complete and ready for move-in,” said Patrick Joseph A. Villano, Vice President and Head of Operations for SM Leisure Resort Residences. He added that residents can now enjoy the community’s amenities, from its swimming pools to leisurely walks through the Central Garden.

Located within a 3.2-hectare enclave approximately 240 meters above sea level, Horizon Terraces offers sweeping views of the Tagaytay Midlands Golf Course, Taal Lake, and Mt. Makiling. These expansive vistas helped inspire the community’s name. The development is already nearly 90 percent sold.

Nature is at the heart of the community’s design. More than 70 percent of the development is dedicated to landscaped gardens and open spaces, creating a low-density residential environment with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

At the center of Horizon Terraces is a one-hectare garden designed as the community’s main recreational area. It features resort-style swimming pools, a children’s playground, pocket gardens, and dedicated spaces for fitness, recreation, and outdoor activities. The generous open spaces also give residents opportunities to enjoy the cool Tagaytay climate and surrounding natural landscape.

Beyond its location and views, Horizon Terraces is positioned around the idea of comfortable, low-density mountain living. Secure surroundings, professionally maintained amenities, and thoughtfully designed open spaces provide residents with a setting suited to everyday living and extended stays.

The development offers a range of residential configurations to accommodate diverse lifestyles. Garden Villas are three-story townhomes ranging from 139 to 172 square meters, located across the Scottsdale, Glendale, and Sunnyvale clusters.

For those looking for more compact options, Garden Suites offer one- and two-bedroom residences ranging from 35 to 103 square meters. These units are located in the low-rise St. Andrews, Glenview, Westchase, and Redstone buildings.

According to Villano, the variety of unit sizes and layouts gives buyers greater flexibility, whether they are looking for a weekend home, a space for family visits, or a future permanent residence.

With all buildings now completed and ready for occupancy, Horizon Terraces offers residents the opportunity to experience Tagaytay Highlands as an everyday lifestyle destination—not simply as a vacation escape. Its combination of mountain views, landscaped open spaces, resort-style amenities, and residential privacy makes it a compelling option for those seeking a quieter pace of living in Tagaytay.
