Environment Secretary Emma Reynolds has confirmed the government is "ready" for Thames Water to go into a special administrative regime - a form of nationalisation - if it collapses. Speaking to Sky News, Reynolds confirmed she had written to regulator Ofwat to highlight her concerns about a plan for the ailing water company put forward by creditors.
