Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy was repeatedly asked by his Conservative counterpart whether any asylum seeker had been mistakenly released from prison since the accidental freeing of convicted sex offender Hadush Kebatu. Mr Lammy sidestepped the questions - it is understood he was briefed overnight about the release of the Algerian from HMP Wandsworth last week.
