China is facing severe flooding in Fujian after prolonged torrential rain, with 50 rivers exceeding dangerous levels. Putian, Fuzhou, Quanzhou and Ningde are among the hardest-hit areas, while more than 100 homes collapsed in Huating, Putian. A total of 599,300 people have been evacuated as rescuers use boats and drones to reach flooded communities. The threat remains high, with further rain potentially triggering new floods and landslides.
